John 1:14-16

¹⁴The Word^(A) became flesh^[a]^(B)
and took up residence^[b] among us.
We observed His glory,^(C)
the glory as the One and Only^(D) Son^[c] from the Father,
full of grace and truth.
¹⁵(John testified concerning Him and exclaimed,
“This was the One of whom I said,
‘The One coming after me^(E) has surpassed me,^(F)
because He existed before me.’”)^(G)
¹⁶Indeed, we have all received grace^(H) after grace
from His fullness,
